The Challenge
The challenge for any audit program is to ensure that audits are incisive, identify the key issues confronting management, and that they are constructive, helping to drive positive improvement in risk management throughout the organisation. Audits are a snap shot of only part of an organisation and therefore audits and audit programs need to be carefully targeted to ensure that useful information is returned to management so that it can deal with emerging issues in a timely manner.

Our Approach
Ibis audits focus effort where risk is greatest - this helps you direct limited resources to where they are needed most and have the greatest impact. We are able to credibly communicate the tough messages to managers to ensure they act on the critical issues that threaten the success of the organisation. Managers need to know where to apply resources to manage risk and where they are potentially exposed.
Learning experience - audits are a learning experience so that capability is transferred to your organisation. Participation from all managers and staff is actively encouraged during audits. Our audits promote improvements in leadership by helping managers to understand their accountabilities and empower and mobilise their teams.
We look beyond the technical - and provide greater insight into the cultural issues which underpin system performance. We can assess prevailing OHS culture and provide feedback about roadblocks to improved performance. We answer the questions about why gaps exist in OHS system implementation. This helps you to better understand the key social drivers of OHS performance so you can intervene to achieve your performance and change objectives.
Integration - we promote integration by conducting audits combining the requirements of OHS, environment, quality and risk management.
Ongoing feedback - we provide in-depth analysis and feedback real-time, so you can act immediately. We ensure there is plenty of time for discussion and feedback during the audits. Reports are designed to meet your needs and are customised for all levels of your organisation.
