Our Approach
Our approach is simple. 
We work with you to understand your vision and values, existing and desired culture, performance, systems and other specific needs.  We then efficiently design a program around an existing accredited framework to ensure strict AQF requirements are met. 
Delivery is flexible to meet your needs, but typically involves 7-8 days of contact time in small blocks over a period of 6-8 months.
We provide ongoing support to participants and coaching as required.
Our Experience
  • We have successfully designed and delivered a customised and contextualised training program nationally accredited (Certificate IV OHS) for McConnell Dowell the Gold Coast Rapid Transport Project and the MCJV Narrows Crossing Project in Gladstone Qld.
  • Ibis has developed and delivered Safety Leadership programs for Front Line Leaders and Contract Managers in Transfield Services. These programs equip leaders with the capability to drive positive safety cultural change in the business. These programs have been conducted extensively in Australia and in North America and have been implemented via a train-the-trainer program.  
  • Ibis worked with the John Holland Group to design, develop and deliver a complete OHS training program for all line managers and other “safety critical roles”. The program is based on contemporary risk management principles and defined competency standards relevant to each role and leads to a Certificate IV in Safety Leadership – Construction. Modules of this program in which we have played a significant role in development include Safety Risk Management Leadership, Incident Investigation, Risk Assessment and Auditing.
  • We are currently developing a contextualised training program nationally accredited in the new Certificate IV WHS to be delivered as a company standard program for all operational leaders in a Ostwald Bros a major civil construction firm based in Queensland.
